Tumkur

Tumkur, officially known as Tumakuru, is a city located in the state of Karnataka, India. It serves as the headquarters for the Tumkur district and was granted city corporation status on August 28, 2010.

The city is notable for hosting the Siddaganga Matha Lingayat monastery. Additionally, it is home to the India Food Park, which was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of India in September 2014 as the country's first mega food park. Tumkur is also included in the Smart Cities Mission list as one of the 100 cities selected for development in India.
