Talikoti, also referred to as Talikot, Talikota, or Talikote, is a taluq located in the Vijaypur district of northern Karnataka, India. The area is situated approximately 85 kilometres to the southeast of the city of Vijayapura and lies along the Doni River.
The location is historically significant for its association with the Battle of Talikota, which took place in 1565. It remains a recognized site for this notable historical conflict.
