Saundatti, also known as Savadatti, is one of the oldest towns located in the Belagavi district of the Indian state of Karnataka. It serves as the headquarters for a taluk that was formerly named Parasgad.
The town is situated approximately 78 kilometres from Belagavi and 41 kilometres from Dharwad. It is recognized as a Hindu pilgrimage centre and is home to several ancient temples.
