Manipal

Manipal is a suburb and university town located in the Udupi District of coastal Karnataka, India. It is situated approximately five kilometres from the center of Udupi City and is administered by the Udupi City Municipality. The town lies roughly 62 kilometres north of Mangalore and 8 kilometres east of the Arabian Sea.

The geography of Manipal is characterized by its position on a plateau at an altitude of about 75 metres above sea level. This location provides panoramic views of the Western Ghats to the east and the Arabian Sea to the west. The region features a tropical climate with moderate to heavy rainfall during the monsoon season, which maintains a lush and green landscape throughout the year.
