Karwar

Karwar is a coastal city and taluka located in the present-day state of Karnataka, India. It serves as the administrative headquarters of the Uttara Kannada district and is situated at the mouth of the Kali river along the Konkan Coast.

Historically, the region was part of the Bombay Presidency. The city remains a significant coastal location within the state's geography.
