Gadaga-Betageri is a city municipal council located in the Gadag district of Karnataka, India. It serves as the administrative headquarters for the Gadag District. The municipality encompasses both the original city of Gadag and its sister city, Betageri, which share a combined city administration.
The municipality covers an area of 54.0956 km2 (20.8864 sq mi) and has a population of 172,813. Notable landmarks within the region include the temples of Veera Narayana and Trikuteshwara, which are recognized for their religious and historic significance. Additionally, Kanaginahal in Gadag is noted as the birthplace of the first co-operative society in Asia.
