Chikkodi is a city, taluka, and one of three sub-divisional headquarters located in the Belagavi district of Karnataka, India. Situated on the border between the states of Karnataka and Maharashtra, it serves as a significant regional hub with several district-level offices, although it is not officially designated as a district by the Government of Karnataka.
The city is part of the Chikodi Subdivision, which includes the taluks of Athani, Hukkeri, Raybag, Nipani, and Kagwad. It is located approximately 75 kilometers from Belgaum, 160 kilometers from Hubli, and 570 kilometers from Bangalore, the capital of Karnataka.
