Aurad is a town and municipal council located in the Bidar district of the Kalyana-Karnataka region in the Indian state of Karnataka. It serves as a local administrative center within the district.
The town is situated along National Highway 161A and is located approximately 42 kilometres (26 mi) from the district headquarters, Bidar.
