Arsikere is a city and taluka located in the Hassan district of Karnataka, India. Also known by the names Siddara Nadu and Kalpataru Nadu, it serves as the second largest city in the Hassan district from a demographic perspective. The city's municipal council is organized into 35 wards.
The region is primarily recognized for its coconut production. Additionally, Arsikere Junction serves as a major railway junction within the South Western Railway network. This hub connects Mangalore, Bangalore, and Mysore to North Karnataka, providing a central transit point for tourists visiting nearby locations without direct rail access, including Belur, Halebidu, Shravanabelagola, Harnahalli, and Kodimata.
