Nambol is a town and the headquarters of an eponymous subdivision located in the Bishnupur district of Manipur, India. The town is situated along a major heartline known as Tiddim Road. While most of Nambol falls under the jurisdiction of the Bishnupur district, certain parts of the town also belong to the Imphal West District.
The general functionalities of the town are administered by the Nambol municipal council. It is recognized as a significant educational hub for both the Bishnupur district and the state of Manipur. Additionally, its market, known as Nambol Bazaar, is noted as the second busiest market in Manipur, following Khwairamband Bazaar (also known as 'IMA market').
