Yavatmal is a city and municipal council located in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It serves as the administrative headquarters for the Yavatmal District.
The city is situated approximately 670 km (420 mi) from Mumbai, the state capital, and 150 km southwest of Nagpur. It is also located about 90 km away from the divisional headquarters of Amravati.
