Vaijapur is a city and municipal council located in the Aurangabad district of Maharashtra, India. It serves as the administrative headquarters for the Vaijapur tehsil and is frequently referred to as the Gateway of Marathwada.
The city is situated at a geographical crossroads bordered by several neighboring regions. To its west lies the Nashik district, while it is bounded by Kannad tehsil to the north and Gangapur tehsil to the east. The southern border of Vaijapur meets the Ahmednagar district.
