Sindkhed Raja is a town and municipal council located in the Buldhana district of Maharashtra, India. Historically, the region was governed by a Koli Chieftain.
The town is notably recognized as the birthplace of Rajmata Jijabai, who was the mother of the Maratha ruler Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
