Shirpur is a town and taluka located in the Dhule district of the Nashik Division in Maharashtra, India. It is situated approximately 60 km from the city of Dhule and lies along National Highway 3, which connects Agra in Uttar Pradesh to Mumbai. The geography of the area is defined by the flow of the Arunavati and Tapi rivers through the city.
The town is notable for housing India's first gold refinery, which is also the largest in Asia. Additionally, Shirpur serves as a location for a campus of the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies. A small private airport is located nearby at Village Tande, situated ahead of the town.
