Saoner is a city and tehsil headquarters situated in the northern part of the Nagpur district in the state of Maharashtra, India. The town is governed by the Savner municipal council and is located approximately 36 kilometres (22 mi) from the city of Nagpur.
The city is positioned on the bank of the Kolar River. It is noted for its historical and mythological significance within the region.
