Pandharkawada is a city and municipal council located in the Yavatmal district within the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra, India. The municipality is situated in close proximity to the Saikheda Dam, which is an earthfill dam constructed on the Khuni River.
The local government has received several accolades for its administrative and educational achievements. In 2006, the Pandharkawada municipality was recognized as the "Best Municipality at Amravati Division," and it subsequently received a quality of education award in 2011.
