Lonavala-Khandala is a hill station and municipal council located in the Pune district of Maharashtra, India. It is situated approximately 64 km west of Pune and 96 km east of Mumbai.
The town serves as a major stop on the railway line connecting Mumbai and Pune, with local trains accessible from Pune Junction. The Mumbai-Pune Expressway and the Mumbai-Pune national highway also pass through the area. Lonavala is notably recognized for its production of hard candy chikki.
