Khuldabad, also known as Rauza, is a city and taluka located in the Aurangabad district of Maharashtra, India. The area is historically significant as a holy and spiritual site for Islamic saints, earning it the titles "Valley of Saints" or "Abode of Eternity." These names stem from the fact that several Sufi saints chose to reside in the region during the 14th century.
The town contains numerous notable religious and historical landmarks. Key sites include the Bhadra Maruti Temple and the Dargahs of Zar Zari Zar Baksh, Shaikh Burhan ud-din Gharib Chisti, and Shaikh Zain-ud-din Shirazi. Additionally, Khuldabad houses the tomb of the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb and his trusted General Asif Jah I, who was also the first Nizam of Hyderabad.
