Khoni is a town located in the Western Georgian region (mkhare) of Imereti. It is situated on the left bank of the Tskhenistsqali River in the north-west of Imereti, approximately 266 km west of Georgia's capital, Tbilisi. The town lies close to the border with the region of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti.
As of January 2024, Khoni has a population of 7,756 and serves as the administrative center of the Khoni District. The local economy is primarily based on agriculture, with a specific focus on tea production.
