Kamptee, also known as Kamthi, is a suburb located in the Nagpur district of Maharashtra, India. It serves as a municipal council within the Nagpur metropolitan region development authority.
The area functions as the administrative center for Kamptee taluka. Geographically, it is situated below the confluence where the Kanhan River meets the Pench and Kolar rivers.
