Boisar is an industrial town situated in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It serves as the largest industrial hub within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region and is currently located in the Palghar district.
The town was originally part of the Thane district before its administrative transition to Palghar. Geographically, it is positioned approximately 111 kilometers from the state capital, Mumbai, and about 98 kilometers from the union territory of Daman.
