Bhayandar, also spelled as Bhaindar or Bhayander, is a suburb located in the western suburbs of Mumbai, India. It serves as the northernmost suburb on the island situated on the western side, positioned near the Vasai Creek.
The area features a diverse population consisting of Marathi, Aagri, Koli, and mixed-community residents. Administratively, Bhayandar falls under the North Central ward of the Municipal Corporation and is governed by the Mira-Bhayander, Vasai-Virar Police Commissionerate.
