Badlapur

Badlapur is a city located in the Thane district of Maharashtra state, India. Situated within the Konkan division, the city lies on the banks of the Ulhas River and is situated approximately 40 kilometres from Thane City. It serves as an integral part of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

The city is governed by the Kulgaon-Badlapur Municipal Council. As of 2024, Badlapur has an estimated population of approximately 245,000, representing a growth of about 40.62% since 2011. The area is served by the Badlapur railway station, which is located on the Central line of the Mumbai Suburban Railway.
