Alibag, also known as Alibaug, is a coastal city and municipal council located in the Raigad district of Maharashtra, India. It serves as the administrative headquarters for the Raigad district and is situated south of Mumbai.
The city is part of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. It is positioned approximately 96 kilometres (60 mi) from Mumbai and 143 kilometres (89 mi) from Pune.
