North Paravur, commonly known as Paravur or Parur, is a major town and municipality located in the northwestern part of the Kochi metropolitan area in the Indian state of Kerala. It is situated within the Ernakulam district and lies approximately 26 km north of the Kochi city centre.
The town is positioned near the confluence of the Periyar River, Chalakudy River, and the Arabian Sea. It serves as a significant residential, commercial, and administrative hub for the region.
