Mulavukad, also known locally as Bolgatty Island, is an island located within the city of Kochi in the state of Kerala, India. It falls under the jurisdiction of the Mulavukad Grama Panchayat.
The island is situated between Vypin Island and Vallarpadam Island to the west, with Vaduthala located to its east. Connectivity to the mainland is provided by the Goshree bridges, which link it to Ernakulam and Vallarpadam. Additionally, a road on its northern side connects Mulavukad to the Container Terminal Road, providing access to Aluva and Kalamassery.
