Manjeri is a major town and municipality located in the Malappuram district of Kerala, India. It serves as the headquarters of Eranad Taluk and constitutes a significant part of the Malappuram metropolitan area. The Manjeri Municipality is a local self-government institution with jurisdiction over three villages: Manjeri, Payyanad, and Narukara.
The town is one of the primary commercial centers within the Malappuram urban agglomeration. Geographically, it is situated 13 kilometres northeast of the district headquarters in Malappuram and approximately 23 kilometres southeast of Karipur International Airport. Manjeri ranks as the fourth-most populous municipality in the state of Kerala.
