Koduvayur is a Census Town and Grama Panchayat located in the Palakkad district of Kerala, India. The panchayat comprises two villages, Koduvayur-I and Koduvayur-II. It serves as an important center for governance and public administration at the village level within India's decentralized administrative system, which is designed to facilitate local development and rural governance.
The town is situated approximately 11 km from Palakkad via State Highway 27 and functions as one of the major commercial centers in the district. According to the 2011 Census of India, Koduvayur-I village had a population of 20,703 residing over an area of 11.47 km2.
