Kayamkulam is a municipality located in the Alappuzha district of Kerala, India. It is situated approximately 46 km south of the district headquarters in Alappuzha and about 110 km north of the state capital, Thiruvananthapuram.
According to the 2011 Indian census, the municipality has a population of 68,634 people. The area maintains a population density of 3,149 per square kilometer (8,160 per square mile).
