Kattanam is a village situated in the Alappuzha district of Kerala, a state in southern India. It is located approximately 2,200 km south of the national capital, New Delhi, at an elevation of about 15 metres above sea level.
The village is positioned near several other towns, situated roughly 7.2 km east of Kayamkulam, 10 km south of Mavelikkara, and 22 km west of Adoor. Kattanam Junction serves as one of the primary junctions along State Highway 5 (SH-5).
