Erattupetta is a municipality located in the Kottayam district of Kerala, India. It is situated approximately 40 km east of the district headquarters in Kottayam and about 157 km north of Thiruvananthapuram, which serves as the state capital.
According to the 2011 Indian census, the municipality has a population of 34,814 people. The area maintains a population density of 1,906 per square kilometer.
