Cherpulassery is a town and municipality situated in the Palakkad district of Kerala, India. It is located approximately 43 km (27 mi) west of the district headquarters at Palakkad along State Highway 53.
The town is notably known as the Sabarimala of Malabar due to its location of the famous Ayyappankavu temple. Additionally, it serves as a site for the Puthanalakkal Bhagavathi temple, which hosts the Kalavela and Pooram, recognized as one of the largest festivals in the region.
