Chengannur is a municipality located in the Alappuzha district of Kerala, India. It is situated approximately 43 km southeast of the district headquarters in Alappuzha and about 115 km north of Thiruvananthapuram, the state capital.
According to the 2011 Indian census, the municipality has a population of 23,466 people. The area maintains a population density of 1,607 per square kilometer.
