Dharamsala

Dharamshala is a town located in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It serves as the winter capital of the state and has functioned as the administrative headquarters for the Kangra district since 1855.

Since 1960, the town has been notable for hosting the Tibetan government-in-exile and the 14th Dalai Lama.
