Yamunanagar is a city and municipal corporation located in the Yamunanagar district of the Indian state of Haryana. The older portion of the town is known as Jagadhri.
The city is primarily recognized for its industrial activity, specifically its cluster of paper factories and plywood units. It serves as a significant source of timber for larger industries. Transportation in the area is serviced by the Yamunanagar-Jagadhri railway station (YJUD) and the Jagadhri Workshop railway station, both of which are situated within Yamunanagar.
