Rohtak is a city located in the Indian state of Haryana. It serves as the administrative headquarters for the Rohtak district and is situated on National Highway 9.
The city is positioned approximately 70 kilometres north-west of New Delhi and 250 kilometres south of Chandigarh, the state capital. As a part of the National Capital Region (NCR), Rohtak benefits from infrastructure development support through cheap loans provided by the NCR Planning Board.
