Pehowa

Pehowa is a town and municipal committee located in the Kurukshetra district of the Indian state of Haryana. It serves as an important sacred Hindu pilgrimage site with historical and religious significance related to Krishna and the Mahabharata.

The town is situated within the 48 Kos Parikrama of Kurukshetra. Notably, it houses the Pruthudak Tirath on the banks of the Sarasvati river, where the Hindu genealogy registers for Haryana are kept.
