Vadodara

Vadodara, also known as Baroda, is a city located in the Indian state of Gujarat. It is situated on the banks of the Vishwamitri River and serves as the administrative headquarters for the Vadodara district.

The city's name is derived from its historical abundance of banyan trees, referred to locally as "vad." In regional culture, Vadodara is also recognized by the titles Sanskrutik Nagari and Kala Nagari of India.
