Sihor is a town and municipality located in the Bhavnagar district of Gujarat, India. It is situated approximately 20 km from the city of Bhavnagar and is positioned along the Gautami River.
The town is characterized by its surrounding hills and served as the former capital of the Gohil Rajputs. The name Sihor is considered a corruption of several earlier names, including Saraswatpur, Sinhalpur, Sinhpur, Sinhor, and Shihor.
