Mehsana, also spelled Mahesana, is a city located in the Indian state of Gujarat. It serves as the headquarters for the Mehsana district.
Established in the 14th century, the city was under the administration of the Gaekwads of Baroda State from the 18th century until India gained independence in 1947. The local economy is characterized by major industries including dairy, oil, and natural gas.
