Junagadh is a city located in the Indian state of Gujarat. It serves as the headquarters for the Junagadh district and is situated at the foot of the Girnar hills.
The city is positioned approximately 355 kilometres (221 mi) southwest of Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. It currently ranks as the seventh largest city within the state of Gujarat.
