Chanasma is a small town and municipality located in the Chanasma Taluka of the Patan district in Gujarat, India. It serves as a seat for the Gujarat Assembly, with its Member of Parliament (MP) seat falling within the Patan Lok Sabha constituency.
The village is connected by the Kandla-Mehsana highway and is slated to connect with Rajasthan via Patan from Ahmedabad once broad gauge railway renovations are complete. The community is composed of various groups, including Patel, Brahmin, Vania, Darji, Panchal, Parmar, Rabari, Thakor, and Nayi residents. While the original village was situated between Ugmano Darwaza and Athamano Darwaza, it has expanded outward due to population growth and development.
