Borsad

Borsad is a town and municipality located in the Anand district of Gujarat, India. It is situated approximately 17 km from the city of Anand.

The town is surrounded by the fertile Charotar region, an area primarily known for its agricultural production. Key crops grown in this vicinity include tobacco, bananas, cotton, and barley. Historically, Borsad served as the seat of the Borsad satyagraha during the years 1922–23.
