Bhachau

Bhachau is a city and municipality located in the Kutch district (Kachchh) of the state of Gujarat, India. As of the 2011 census, the city had a population of 39,532 residing in over 8,647 households.

The town is notable for having been significantly impacted by seismic activity in the Kutch region. It was one of many towns devastated during both the 1956 Anjar earthquake and the 2001 Gujarat earthquake.
