Baben is a village and a former municipality located in the district of Stendal within the state of Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It serves as a rural locality situated in the eastern part of the country.
As of January 1, 2010, Baben ceased to be an independent municipality and became part of the larger municipality of Eichstedt. While historical records identify it as a distinct administrative entity, it currently functions as a constituent village within its surrounding municipal structure.
