Ahwa

Ahwa is a city located in India and serves as the headquarters of the Dang District within the state of Gujarat. Situated at an elevation of approximately 1800 feet above sea level, the area is characterized by its hilly terrain and dense forest cover.

The district is primarily inhabited by tribal people. A notable characteristic of the region is its wildlife; venomous snakes from this area are transported to the Haffkine Institute in Bombay for use in preparing injections.
