Roshanpura

Roshan Pura is an urbanized village located in South-west Delhi, India. It is situated near Najafgarh along the Najafgarh-Gurgaon Road. The settlement is primarily inhabited by members of the Shokeen Jat clan.

The village is characterized as a planned community featuring wide roads and essential infrastructure, including proper water supplies and sewage systems. It is distinguished from the adjacent Dichaon Kalan in Najafgarh tehsil through the use of Persian terms; "Khurd" and "Kalan" are used to denote small and big respectively.

The community has produced two serving Army Officers, Major Rajbir Shokeen and Captain Vinay Shokeen.
