Dayal Pur is a census town and village located in Mustafabad within the North East Delhi region of the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi, India. The settlement was historically an agricultural village before experiencing significant demographic shifts over the last thirty years.
The area was named in honor of Ch. Dayal Singh, a Gurjar zamindar also known as "Baba Dayala." Most of the current native inhabitants are descendants ranging from the sixth to the tenth generation of Baba Dayala. In recent decades, the population has been influenced by an influx of people originating from Garhwal, Kumaon, and 'Purab'.
