Baprola is a census town and village located on the outskirts of Najafgarh in the South West Delhi district of the National Capital Territory of Delhi. Situated near the Delhi-Haryana border, it falls within the Najafgarh Zone of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD). The area is characterized as a Jat-dominated village and is one of 12 villages associated with the Solanki clan in Delhi.
The village is primarily known as the hometown of double Olympic medalist wrestler Sushil Kumar. It is also the residence of Vijay Solanki, the district president of the BJP, whose father served as the sarpanch during the last panchayat of the village. Haryanvi and Hindi are the primary languages spoken by the local population.
