Tinsukia is an industrial city located in the state of Assam, India. It serves as the administrative headquarters for the Tinsukia District.
The city is situated approximately 480 kilometres (298 mi) north-east of Guwahati and lies about 84 kilometres (52 mi) from the border with Arunachal Pradesh.
